How does web hosting work?
Once you purchase a Web hosting plan, Pelfrey Enterprises stores your site on one of our servers and assigns it a unique DNS. The DNS serves as the address that allows people around the world to find and view your website. This unique address is required in order for people to view your site.
By purchasing a website hosting package, you’re basically buying space on one of our servers. It’s similar to the space on a computer’s hard drive, but the server allows your website’s files to be accessed from anywhere.
How much do you charge you clients?
We charge our clients $29.95 / Month or $299.00 / Year
How do I upload my files?
All Pelfrey Enterprises web hosting packages allow the usage of FTP to upload files to your website.
To start you will need a FTP program. You can use any standard FTP Client to upload files to your account.
FileZilla is a free FTP client and can be downloaded at: http://filezilla-project.org

What are you E-Mail Settings for setting up mail clients?
Secure SSL/TLS Settings
Username: user.domain.com, net, org
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mx1.pelfreyenterprises.com , mx2.pelfreyenterprises.com , mx3.pelfreyenterprises.com (depending on which server your website and email are hosted on.)
IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
POP3 Port: 995 (SSL)
Outgoing Server is the same as incoming server depending on which server your website and email are hosted on.
SMTP Port: 587 (SSL)
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.
IMAP email access coordinates between the server and your mail application. Messages that have been read/deleted/replied to will show up as such, both on the server and in the mail application.
POP3 does not coordinate with the server. Messages marked as read/deleted/replied to in the mail application will not show up as such on the server. This means that future mail downloads with POP3 will show all messages as unread.
Outgoing mail is sent using SMTP.
We recommend using POP3 over SSL/TLS or IMAP over SSL/TLS since they provide increased security for your interactions with the remote mail server.
How many server’s do you have, and where are they located?
We have 3 server’s and they are located in Los Angeles, California Secaucus, New Jersey
What is a URL Redirect?
URL redirection, also called URL forwarding, is a World Wide Web technique for making a web page available under more than one URL address. When a web browser attempts to open a URL that has been redirected, a page with a different URL is opened. For example,www.example.com is redirected to example.iana.org.
